Shutdown & Restart System


To shut down a Windows system using the keyboard, you can press the Windows key + X and then select "Shut down or sign out" from the menu. On a Mac, you can press the Command + Control + Eject keys to shut down the system. Alternatively, you can press the Command + Option + Power button to force shut down the Mac. It's also important to note that you can also use the shutdown command in the command prompt or terminal, on both Windows and Mac.

To restart a Windows system using the keyboard, you can press the Windows key + X and then select "Shut down or sign out" from the menu and then select "Restart". On a Mac, you can press the Command + Control + Eject keys to bring up a dialog box that will give you the option to restart your Mac. Alternatively, you can use the restart command in the command prompt or terminal, on both Windows and Mac. On Windows, you can also press "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" and then select the power icon and choose restart.
